By Car
Morocco is also accessible by car. Crossing the Straits of Gibraltar is simple and ferry connections are frequent.
From the Straits of Gibraltar it takes another day to get to Agadir. From Tangier to Casablanca, much of the road is 4 lane (requiring four to five hours).
The 225 kilometers from Casablanca to Marrakech takes approximately three hours and there is a 4-lane highway for the first 60 kms.
From Marrakech to Agadir, just 260 kilometres away, takes another three hours including the easy crossing of the western part of the High Atlas. We suggest that you take your timealong this road because many sites and villages along the way are worth visiting!
